The Diving
Dive into Roatan’s underwater wonderland, where dramatic coral reefs and striking underwater topography await. Explore vibrant coral formations that form intricate swim-throughs through ancient volcanic fissures, and stunning walls that descend into the deep blue. Explore many wrecks covered with with diverse marine life.
Roatan’s dive sites are teeming with colorful schools of fish, curious sea turtles, sea horses, Flamingo Tongues and Jaw fish!. Frequent sightings of barracudas, stingrays, Eagle Rays, Squid, Cuttle Fish and rare critters such as the string of pearls add excitement to our dives, making each excursion a captivating adventure.
We’ve had the pleasure of visiting Roatan three times with our dive travel groups, and it has become a favorite destination, returning annually. We’ve fallen in love with the island and the warm, welcoming community at Mayan Divers, who have become like family. Join us to experience why Roatan’s dive sites are truly unforgettable!
The Resort

With all meals, premium liquors, and wine included, it’s hard to beat.
Enjoy two specialty restaurants: Calkett’s offers creative island cuisine like surf and turf and fresh ceviches, while San Simon Beach Club serves an elevated three-course menu featuring dishes like Lobster Carpaccio and Truffle Beef Tenderloin, perfect for a dress-your-island-best night!
Balam is the buffet-style spot with themed dinners nightly, from Asian to BBQ (our favorite).
Multiple bars around the resort keep the fresh cocktails and mocktails flowing.
Villas come with kitchens, comfy living areas, and some include terraces or porches. A long pool runs through the resort with a hot tub, plus beach access with roped-off chairs. You can kayak, float, or simply relax.

The resort also offers fun activities like karaoke, fire shows, and dancing. If you want to explore, West End is just a short water taxi away and you can explore all of West Bay by simply walking the beach!
