Frequently Asked Questions
Are all scuba training courses the same?
No. While a certification card may look the same, the training behind it varies dramatically. Class size, instructor attention, pace, and real-world preparation make the difference between feeling confident underwater, or feeling unsure and dependent. At DiVE KS, certification is the result of mastery, not speed.
Why does DiVE KS limit class size to 5 students?
At DiVE KS, certification is the result of competence and mastery of skill, not speed. By limiting each class to a maximum of five students, our instructors can provide personalized attention, hands-on guidance, and more time to master every skill. This ensures that divers leaves our program confident, capable, and fully prepared for real-world conditions, rather than being rushed to earn a certification. Small classes aren’t about cost, they’re about creating true mastery, safety, and lifelong enjoyment of diving.
How many students are in a typical class?
Never more than five in any of our classes.
I plan to dive on vacation. Do I need to train in MA?
There are many ways to obtain scuba training. By training any portion of your program with us you will develop stronger and more confident diving habits everywhere. Divers trained with our approach find warm-water diving easier, calmer, and more enjoyable. If you're new to scuba, our Referral Program is extremely popular.
