At DiVE KS, we’re more than just a Massachusetts scuba diving center—we’re a community builder. We’re deeply committed to fostering a vibrant scuba diving community throughout New England and beyond. For the past four years, we’ve proudly hosted an annual social event originally known as 'Diver Socials'. This year, we’ve rebranded the gathering to Vibes and Dives, a more inclusive celebration designed to bring together divers and ocean enthusiasts from all walks of life.
How DiVE KS Builds the New England Scuba Diving Community
Vibes and Dives welcomes everyone passionate about the ocean, from scuba divers and freedivers to underwater photographers, mermaids, rescue divers, divemasters, military and police divers, surface support teams, charter operators, dive shops, and more. Our mission is to create a warm, inclusive space where members of the New England scuba diving community can meet new dive buddies, exchange tips and stories, and build lasting connections.
Growing Attendance and Expanding Reach
Over the years, our event has grown significantly, attracting attendees not only from Massachusetts but also from states like Chicago, Maryland, New York, Vermont, South Carolina, and Maine. Each year, more dive enthusiasts join us, making Vibes and Dives one of the key gatherings for regional divers.
Supporting Innovation and Industry Growth
At our most recent event, we proudly supported the launch of the Dive With Buddy app, a platform designed to help divers connect and share information about dive sites. Our Director of Operations and Travel, Erika, is a proud Buddy Explorer helping spread the awareness of this amazing dive app! Through branded swag, info cards, and stickers, we helped spread the word, underscoring our commitment to supporting innovation that benefits the dive community.

Vibes and Dives isn’t just about diving, it’s about good times on land, too. Each event features food and drink options (including themed cocktails), music, fun games, and sometimes themed attire that adds to the festive vibe.
