Open water training for our specialty courses is conducted in the Cape Ann region of Massachusetts, while other specialties may require access to additional regions of New England.

PADI SPECIALTY COURSES
Course Description:
Achieve mastery in buoyancy with the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course. Skilled divers with exceptional buoyancy control glide smoothly, use less air, and maneuver effortlessly—whether ascending, descending, or hovering. This course enhances the buoyancy skills you learned as a beginner, taking them to a new level of precision.
Designed for PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers or higher, aged 10 and up, this course focuses on perfecting your buoyancy control. You’ll learn to maintain neutral buoyancy, float effortlessly, and use air more efficiently. Additionally, you'll gain techniques for approaching marine life without disturbance, making your dives more enjoyable and rewarding.

Course Description:
In our comprehensive drysuit course, you’ll experience one pool session and two open water dives to master the art of diving with a drysuit. Unlike wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air to keep you warm in colder waters. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you'll learn to control the air in your drysuit, fine-tune your buoyancy, and handle common drysuit issues. You'll learn to perform basic repairs and to maintain your equipment. This hands-on approach ensures you dive comfortably and confidently, with a smooth learning curve.

While many enjoy the beauty of vibrant coral reefs during dives or snorkeling, few grasp the full complexity and ecological significance of these habitats. This course will provide you with insights into reef ecosystems and the actions you can take to protect them.
Open to anyone with an interest in marine environments, this course has no prerequisites or age restrictions and does not require any water sessions.
To get started, refer to the digital manual "AWARE - Our World, Our Water," available for free on the PADI Aware Foundation website. While reading the chapter on coral reefs is optional, it will enhance your understanding before meeting with your instructor.
