Junior Open Water Certification

This entry-level course offers you a certification that is recognized worldwide upon successful completion. This program consists of three segments: Knowledge Development (e-Learning), Confined Water Lessons (pool), and Open Water Dives (ocean). The Jr. Open Water Course is similar to the Open Water Certification (for adults) yet with depth restrictions. The Jr Open Water diver must be accompanied by an adult or dive professional. 

What you will learn:              ​

  • How to be a skilled, safe, and confident diver

  • How to assemble and disassemble equipment

  • How to handle and avoid common problems

  • All required skills to become a certified diver

  • One of our highly sought-after instructors will educate you on both the skills and knowledge of becoming a certified diver

  • How to spread awareness about our oceans

  • Limitations to a JR OW Certification

What you will Need:​

  • PADI e-Learning 

  • Mask, snorkel, fins, and boots

  • Completed Student Medical Statement 

Length of program:

  • e-Learning 6 hours on average

  • Minimum of 4 hours of Confined Water Training (pool training)

  • 4 Open Water Dives (ocean dives)

Cost of Program:

  • Open Water Diver e-Learning:                        $217.00

  • Enrollment & Confined Water Lessons:        $650.00 

  • Open Water (Ocean) Dives:                            $300.00

  • Open Water Gear Rental Package:                $125.00
